The PTA aims to establish good home-school relationships so that parents and teachers can work together more effectively for the complete development of the child.

Each school has its own PTA. Members are residents of the neighborhood which that school serves, and of the total community for the PTSA unit serving the Roosevelt Middle and High Schools.

The Roosevelt Council of Parent-Teacher Associations is the coordinating body for the local PTA units, all of which are represented in its membership. Each of these groups welcomes parents, teachers, students and other citizens interested in the welfare of the district’s children.
