| Regents:
All students are eligible to earn a Regents Diploma. Students must
receive a minimum grade of 65 on five (5) Regents exams. The NY
State Board of Regents modified the requirements to include a score
of 55-64 as acceptable for a Local diploma in some Regents. In addition,
there is a safety net for students with disabilities who do not
pass a Regents exam required for graduation.
Diploma with Honors: A student must have an average grade of at
least 90 in ALL Regents Examinations.
Regents Diploma with an Advanced Designation: In addition to the
five Regents Exams, the student must also pass an additional three
Regents Exams, Math B, Science and Foreign Language.
