Hardware/LAN
Support
All new hardware is purchased with a three year
on-site warranty with parts and labor. Each school Technology Liaison
utilizes appropriate forms to report repair needs to the Technology
Department.
In addition to traditional vendor warranty support
the district has and will continue to utilize on-site support. All
support pertaining to Technology, ie, Computers, Phones, Printers,
Application are logged and tracked in an application called Connect
Wise.
Instructional Software Support
Instructional software repairs, upgrades and installations
are managed in-house by the District Technicians in the same manner
as hardware. See above.
Administrative Software Support
The administrative applications listed below are
currently supported through a Nassau BOCES repair contract. Repair
needs are called in to the BOCES help desk by individual users,
an incident number is received, and the assigned Roosevelt UFSD
Technician is dispatched to the district.
